CNS 2024 (The 17th Annual Meeting of Chinese Neuroscience Society)
Introduction
Chinese Neuroscience Society (CNS) is a non-profit non-governmental organization with the status of an independent legal entity and supported by neuroscientists from national scientific and research units, universities and hospitals and alike.The history of CNS can be traced back to the endeavors of three well-known neurobiologists, academician Wu Jianping, academician Han Jisheng, and academician Chen Yizhang, who jointly launched the Preparatory Committee of CNS in 1992 and convened two meetings followed in Shanghai and Beijing. At two meetings, a document suggesting the establishment of Chinese Neuroscience Society was drafted and submitted to the China Association for Science (CAST) and Technology for further approval by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Then in October 1995, Chinese Neuroscience Society was officially established in Shanghai. Now led by CAST, CNS is affiliated to Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health (SINH), CAS. The Journal of CNS is NEUROSCIENCE BULLETIN.
