Introduction

Laboratory medicine, as the cornerstone of diagnostic medicine, forms the basis of medical care and is an indispensable field in today's healthcare. Its importance is recognised and it is positioned as one of the basic area specialities recognised by the Japan Medical Specialist Organisation. In today's increasingly diverse society, collaboration with other fields is more essential than ever before, and the theme of the conference is 'The fascination and diversity of clinical laboratory medicine'. We invite young doctors and laboratory technicians to register a number of general abstracts and to engage in lively discussions.

Content of the meeting

We hope that through this congress we can convey the importance, academic interest and future potential of laboratory medicine to the young people who will lead the future of medicine and healthcare, as well as to people in other fields, and that we can discover human resources who can play a role in the future of laboratory medicine together with us and aim for further development.
