SBD (Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia)

Since its inception, the Brazilian Society of Dermatology has incorporated important differentiating elements in its congresses. Concepts such as hands-on courses and workshops have been introduced to demonstrate various treatments and surgical procedures in real time, not forgetting social activities.

Each year, the congress organises more than 40 practical sessions to provide low-income patients with access to dermatological treatments. It is estimated that each hands-on session helps around 400 patients who would otherwise not have access to treatment.

In its more than 20-year history, the Brazilian Society of Dermatology has been organised from the north to the south of Brazil, providing practical training for participants and bringing information and technology to low-income populations, who can receive treatment from the most renowned national and international professionals in the field of dermatology.
