The SBPC/ML is a private law association for non-economic purposes, founded on May 31, 1944, called the BRAZILIAN SOCIETY OF CLINICAL PATHOLOGY/LABORATORY MEDICINE and located in Rio de Janeiro - RJ. Our purpose is to bring together physicians who hold the title of Specialist in Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine and physicians from other specialties who are regularly registered with their respective Regional Medical Councils, as well as individuals and companies that are directly or indirectly linked to Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine, and to always encourage the development of the specialty within ethical and scientific standards.

Our members are clinical pathologists and doctors of other specialties, pharmacists-biochemists, biomedical doctors, biologists, technicians and other clinical laboratory professionals, university and high school students. Clinical laboratories and companies that manufacture and distribute equipment, products and services for laboratories can also join.

Members receive discounts and preferential attendance at congresses, conferences, symposia, workshops, seminars and courses held by the SBPC/ML. They receive free publications and have access to exclusive areas in the Digital Library, as well as many other advantages that are worth knowing about.
